Saving the Purple Martins

Picking off the stray House Sparrows that were lucky to survive the spring cull. Had around 16 Pairs of House Sparrows visit the Martin House this spring and I was able to get all but a few. They live in my neighbors Rose Bush and always make their way down and try to nest in the Martin House before the Martin's arrive in late April to early May.

It's good practice for Squirrel Hunting Season!

Got my wife into Purple Martins 3 years ago so now she is all about taking the best care of them. Got tired of her always calling me to shoot the "bad birds" around the house so I got another Impact so she can have some fun too!
