Nice shooting!

About the same here. For some reason I have just felt like shooting some springers lately and went through all of them over the chrono. My R1 was last. I put a Beeman Laser kit in it abot 15 years ago and it was so awful, I just had no interest in bothering with it more. Been a long term safe queen. It was running 650 over the chrono and super nasty to shoot yesterday, so I pulled it apart, put a Maccari seal in it that was in my pile and some moly paste and viola.... it shoots pretty nice at 890 w Exact 8.4s. Back to being fun to shoot .... Haven't accuracy tested yet though .

I have several springers but my fav is the little BSA Superstar . Light and easy to cock, mellow to shoot and very accurate at about 14 ft/lb. LGU and Tx Mk1 are pretty good too, just quite a bit heavier.

Anyway , good to see someone else enjoying their R1.

I had one in the same caliber that I drove to San Rafael to pick up. About 27 miles. I was tickled pink when Beeman made the move to Airway Dr. In Santa Rosa California. That was only 18 miles away. I use to love going there and pick up my airgun (and center fire rifle) needs and drool over all the new and used airguns they had on display. Felt like a kid in a candy store. A kid in his 30's I might add. LOL
