Any San Diego guys want to meet up in the Buckman Springs, Kitchen Creek area this weekend for some squirrel plinking? Went to a property in Vista yesterday afternoon & took out 10 in 2 hours! Wish I had my sideshot with me. Thought they might be active out in the mentioned area. PM me if you're so inclined.

What permits do I need? I'm Mexican, but San Diego is very close from my city. I own a .25 cal FX Crown. Maybe I could join some day.

Far as I know, no permit needed. They're a pest species & the area I mentioned is BLM land. Where are you located? .25 Crown huh? Would LOVE to shoot one of those. I have an FX Royale .25 & and an FX Boss .30. GREAT guns but I want to shoot slugs. Feel free to PM me if you want to connect. I'm in Encinitas.

That's a bummer, but I kinda thought I'd need a hunting license and I can't get one because I'm neither a Resident nor citizen.

Sorry, I just assumed you had one. I was just referring to "special" permits. I've got private properties at which you're welcome to join me sometime if you'd like but they're all North county (Temecula, Valley Center). Long haul for you Oscar.

I normally hunt with my 45-70 looking for the elusive San Diego hog......this would be a switch with my HW-30. Do we have any issues post 7/1/19 with lead and pellet guns?

Non-lead ammo ban is for firearms only, airguns are not considered firearms, so you are good to go shooting lead pellets with your airgun.

23 today and total , I was going to spend the night up there but something came out last minute so I had to come back. I lost so many shots bc of the damn camcorder, very hard to use it and shoot and the same time, I dunno how other guys do it, I might get a scope cam or just stick to pictures! Lol

I used to have a problem with my camcorder also. Now it is second nature to turn it on and off. My problem is bumping it and knocking it out of line. Got to work on securing the camera better. I have the same set up as you just a different camera. Bet you have good battery life judging from the size. Have fun, Scott
