Same feeling ?

Talon ss also in 22. It started bad with clipping due a junky LDC. I never got used to the ergonomics, and the scope set way to high so hold over was an issue at short range. My scope was a junker too. I had already been spoiled with features like multishot and pressure gauges, and most importantly, accuracy.

it just never earned it range time.

Mine was my Marauder Pistol. Purchased directly from Crosman. In 30 yards with zero wind (indoors) it would only consistently do 1-3/4" or so.

I started to tell myself that would be OK for my 10 yard pesting duty, but then I realized my not-particularly-accurate Summit NP2 would also shoot about that well. I put it aside out of frustration (Crosman was willing to help, but I didn't want the shipping hassle) and was going to put it aside for awhile to do some soul-searching as to whether I like the gun well enough to pony up $150 for an aftermarket barrel for it. Then, a kind fellow airgunner offered me his old (but good) OEM barrel. I swapped them out, and it is like a new gun.

The moral of the story is that Crosman can make a good barrel, but they don't always. Be ready to follow up on that if you buy a Crosman without a Walther barrel. (my 2300T pistol is quite nice)

OOPS NOT A PCP Tech force 97. Definitely NOT an HW LOL! Was it worth the half price special down to $79.99 from Sportsman's guide even with free shipping? NOPE! Not even adjustable mounts would enable zeroing the scope. An open sights only gun.
Shot almost as accurate as my Crosman 1077 if you know what I mean. Minute of soda pop can at 20 yards.

A 22 Gen1 Marauder before barrel replacement. One of the unlucky ones. Here is how I felt after LW barrel replacement...
