SAM - Maybe I got a bad one!?

Those groups are terrible! Have you tried checking the baffles and/or tried loading single-shot without the magazine? This might help determine if it's the magazine or barrel problem.

Tom Gaylord (aka B.B. Pelletier), just put out his Part 5 review of the SAM (see Airgun Academy blog "Benjamin Marauder Semi-Auto (SAM) PCP Air Rifle: Part 5"). He was also having accuracy problems, and discusses how to checked the baffles for clipping, and loading single-shot (which is not straight forward). He determined that it was likely a magazine issue. I would provide a link, but not sure if that's allowed.

I don't have a SAM yet, but hope this helps.

Holy Cow! Yea, something is definitely wrong! Do you have any other magazines to try? If you have any of the old Marauder magazines, you can add one additional turn to the carousel to increase tension, and try that. I have done this to 3 of the old style mags I had and have not had any feed issues. It might help eliminate the magazine from the equation, or may help pinpoint the problem.

Scallen - I wonder if the chamber O-Ring was damaged when you were having feeding issues and unjammed them. Without that O-ring you will have major accuracy issues and feeding issues. Do you happen to have the serial number? If so can you send it to me so that I can get my hands on this rifle? I want to personally test it and see what is going on.

Absolutely. I wrote it down and will PM you with it in a moment.
