I had been looking at a PCP for the last week that has been on sale for $999. That lasted about a week and then the price jumped back up to $1299. 

My way of thinking is.... If I saw this rifle offered at $999 there is no way I would pay $1299 for it. To me, the value of that gun is $999. It may be worth $1299 or more but if I paid over $999 for it I would feel like I screwed myself. 

This is not a complaint. I like the dealer and manufacturer. I am just curious if other people think the same way?

I would think the same way, but I would also blame myself for not recognizing a good deal when I saw it and not acting on it.

If you want the rifle why not call the vendor and offer $999. I agree, I would feel that I had overpaid, if I purchased the gun for $1299.

Happens All the time on products,if you really wanted you would have bought.and that is why we wait for it to go on sale....since you did not want it you did not get it and as others say ask the dealer for the lower price....what?

Sales everywhere are very slow...I’d call the vendor and make an offer for the one you are interested in!

I would think different vendors would be fighting for your business by lowering prices by now not raising them especially with the $1200 coming just around the corner for most. Unfortunately not one dime of that for me. YO!
