Curiosity got the better of me, especially regarding the CCI Quiet. I didn't know a .22 subsonic was available with such a low MV. Maximum range is typically obtained at around 30 degrees. This table compares some of the obvious alternatives for shooting where limited range is the objective, along with the OP's specific scenario. One thing to note is that, assuming standard conditions, the only factors you need to know to predict a trajectory are the ballistic coefficient, and the muzzle velocity. If you want to limit maximum range, you need to select a projectile with low ballistic coefficient, and/or limit muzzle velocity.
