Sad news

I have just seen a message stating the the Rapid 7 owner club R7OC has been permanently closed.

There was a huge amount of technical information and many projects where design and development of new and improved parts/ideas were shared. 

During the time I spent on the R7OC I have met people who I am proud to call my friends, collectively we have done some amazing things.

I would like to thank Phil for all the work he did getting the site started and maintaining it, failing health over recent years has taken a toll of the energy he needs to continue with the site, the system crash was the the final straw. I wish Phil all the best and thanks to all the members who made it such a good site.




This is just one example of the generosity of the members, a charity build from donated parts that raised well over £3000.

It was a wonderful forum and a lot of out of the box ideas were shared there.

It's great loss as it was a serious forum regarding development and modifications of Rapid / RAW.

It will be great if someone starts a new forum like that.

Though not a poster, I was indeed a LONG time lurker.

Would it be possible to get the data base for the forum and put it on another machine? It isn’t hard to host the server. But it is a ton of work being the admin of it. Sad news indeed.
