Has anyone had any luck with shooting sabots. I have thought about it a few tines and wondered if the plastic would foul out the barrel or how hard it would be to clean the plastic out.

Generally not as accurate as full bore slugs sized to bore.. Even muzzleloader s are going to full bore sized rounds. Try if you want

I was wondering the same since I have some slugs in 45 that shoot bad in my rifle. Thought about getting some 50 cal sabots but may bore is only .495 and they only size to .452 in the sabot itself.
