I bought an Ultimate Sporter XS in 177. My primary use is shooting indoors at 10M to practice for smallbore silhouette.
Anyway I immediately loaded up my favorite pellet, the JSB 10.3, and I could not hold the 9 ring. I was pretty shocked. I tried different power levels with mixed results.
Then I tried some Norma 9.1 grain pellets that I bought for 3 bucks a tin. Since the Norma was so cheap on closeout at Norma USA, I bought a ton. As luck would have it, these Norma cut the same hole every time on the mid power level. So that is my good karma win for the year.
I had 5 Air Arms s400/500 rifles in the past. I always regretted selling them. Since this has an adjustable stock, it really fits the best. Anyway I am very pleased.
