S510 Stock question

UPS messed up. Just curious if all models of S510 stocks would fit on this S510 Ultimate Sporter action.

You should contact the seller to file a claim with UPS. Hopefully it was insured. Was it bought from a retailer or or used?

Claim has been filed. Luckily it was insured upon shipment.

Since no one has answered yet, yes, any S510 stock will fit your rifle.

As a rule I never ship a rifle without separating the action from the stock.

Makes for a shorter package and no broken stock..... just sayin

Thanks for mentioning that TStray. It never would have occurred to me to separate them for shipment; now it seems obvious.

Alderman, let us know how you make out with the insurance company. I've got an AA laminate stock, and that's a sad sight to see. I wonder, by the way, if the stock could be repaired with two-part epoxy and used as a backup?

I don’t know how the claim will work out but I would think at the least I should get a new stock or a replacement rifle. Found a local gunsmith who has the ability to pin and epoxy it. He claims it will be stronger after he is done.

Found a local gunsmith who did a good repair for $80. Feels very solid and he guarantees his work. As of now the word from UPS is the check is in the mail albeit slow due to USPS dealing with covid issues.
