S410E single loader!

 Shot over the Chrony today to see how my gun is working. After shooting about 8 clips I got tired of fiddling with them.

Nobody sells a single loading adapter that I know of so I made my own.

Took me about 6 hours. I think I could cut that in half if I made another.

It clips in nice and firm. I milled a channel for the indexing spring to run in so it doesn't get damaged.

These guns are kind of a dinosaur compared to all the new stuff out but I love shooting mine just the same. I keep saying I'm going to put a reg in it but it's a really good shooter just the way it is....

Very nice. The old rcmachine single shot tray used a bit less metal ( maybe less machine work?) . The pic wont mean much to most but you know where the index notch is.

Nice you are enjoying yours, I still feel they were the very best AA made and as they currently sell used for what a Marauder costs I just do not understand why more folks do not pick one up.

I like the "handle" on that one. 

When I started machining mine I hadn't really thought it out. No drawings, I just started cutting. I thought I'd try to follow the outline of the gun and cut a slot in it.

Then I realized that if a pellet flips over the wrong way I couldn't get to it and it was hard to pull the adapter out so I widened the groove into the V shape it's in now.

I stick my pinky in it to pull it out. From a shooting position it's not bad. From other positions it's a PITA.
