RWS Lock Down .025” elevation ?

I just revived a RWS Lock Down Mount. It says it has .025” elevation built into to overcome barrel deflection in RWS Air Rifles. I’m mounting this on a Hatsan Mdl 95 .22 cal. My shots will all be less than 50 yards. Do I need this “elevation” ? Or should I just shim it up .025” ?



Edit: just realized I can’t shim it. So will this mount work for me or do I need to order a different one ?

Mount it up, it'll be fine. The difference between the lockdown mount and a cheaper mount with no droop is less than a turn on the elevation turret.
