Can it be tuned or short stroked to shoot 11-12fpe in .177? Do they have issues with POI shift? Other issues?

LOVE them. Yes they can be short stroked or kitted to tune to 12 FPE. The last one I did was a .177 Diana 56. It turned out to be a laser. Wish I had kept it. Will definitely do it again in the future. Lots of great mods to improve them. In addition to the short stroked PG4 Vortek kit installed in this one was...
Forward carriage assist was removed and the sled was tuned carefully.
New breech seal.
Chamfer and ramp the ball detent locating hole.
Drill, tap and install a trigger first stage set screw.
Replaced the metal barrel shroud with a carbon sleeve.
Refinished stock and installed picatinny rail.

Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures but it produced several 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards. I’m not capable of much better with ANY gun. Lol
It was very consistent. A recoilless springer that accepts a bipod and can be setup from 11 to 20 FPE. I don’t know why they don’t win more competitions. I’m sure not a lot of people are using them but I wouldn’t hesitate to try if I were competitive.

Whoever ended up with that beauty has got to be happy. The most I've done was vortek kitted and play around with the sled adjustments but it was a sweet shooter 54.
I had a .22 and used mostly for hunting, it was just to heavy to carry.

Just to be clear, the 1/2 inch groups were cherry picked and not an average. Still, I was impressed.
