RWS 48 question.

I'm heading to a friends house early tomorrow morning for some plinking fun with my Diana 52, and I just realized that I ran out of my favorite pellets...
Well, shucks, what to do...? No worries, I went quickly outside and zeroed this beautiful rifle at 30 yards, with these liter JSBs 8.44gr .177 pellets.
I am very happy to report that even at 970 fps, they are actually pretty accurate. Interestingly though these are 20 clicks down and 3 clicks right from my standard zero for the H&N BM 10.65gr pellets. The JSB 10.35gr are 15 clicks down and 2 clicks right, only 5 clicks up from the JSBs 8.44 ...

Air Rifle Headquarters makes a tune kit that works nicely in these guns for a little less power. If I had a .177 I'd be putting one of these in. I have used it in an older .22 model and it gave 16fpe and was a dream to shoot.

If yours is older, the spring will likely break sooner than later. If it does, you'll need to open it up and replace it anyway.

My 52L already has a PG2 kit in it when I bought it. When I first started shooting it I thought they'd installed a 12 FPE kit but I think it just hadn't been shot in quite some time. Or much at all truthfully. Has broken in now and runs about 14-16FPE depending on the pellet and shoots beautifully. Still hates JSB pellets though.

Looks like mine was made in July 2007 ?

So T05 trigger gun I think. Does it say T05 on top of the receiver tube? Least adjustable of the triggers for that gun. Can only adjust the length of the first stage, not weight. That trigger can be made much better with a little polishing and that will help your accuracy.
