RWS 48 coming out of retirement question s

Ok so my beloved 48 is probably 30 yeas or so old.Is been in the house in a closet. I pulled it out about a 2 years ago for a quick varmimt backyard shoot. It worked magnificently. Now this fall I really want to use it more maybe squirel hunting . The question is there some maintenance like lubing and such I should do? I can’t remember if I’ve ever done much tobit

When you did shoot it, how many rounds do you suppose you put through it?

I just took mine apart, and although it was grouping very well, I improved the FPE by lubing the main, the chamber, and breech seal. It all appeared pristine, but the spring was bone dry. It had been shooting well, including the shot cycle, but now is a stronger version of itself, and grouping pretty well. I'm changing the pellet I go to based on the chrome, and although the trajectory and speed are quite different, I'm very pleased. These are my first 3 targets at 25 yards.

The key is, it was shooting very well from a shot cycle and accuracy perspective, but I improved its FPE with a lube job...
