Rws 48 .177 t01 trigger first blood

My buddy gifted me this beast. Checked screws, cleaned bbl. Mounted scope and zeroed @ 35 yds. Tree rat @ 55 yds. Jsb 10.3 @ 850 fps. Gun in possession 1 day and its a learning curve. Slightly different then my r9 and fwb 124. This thing is a hammer.

Hmm, good shooting. Has that rifle been tuned? Normally they shoot two or three FPE harder than that one. Mine have been tuned down to that power level and I like they way they shoot but, just curious.

@oldspook Have no idea if its stock. My friend got it used. I adjusted trigger and it has a nice thud when fired.

I've had my m48 .177 To1 for over 30 years and only just put a vortec tune kit into it about a year ago. They do have some good punch to them but are affected by altitude. Haven't cronoed mine since moving to AZ but I'm sure it will be less than it was when I lived at 3000'. I was getting 845 with the cuda 10.65 gr pellet at 3000'. And hello to a former ASA'er!

I had one in .177, Kicked like a mule but would hit what you was aiming at if you held it right. Had to shoot heavy pellets because of the power.
