Umarex made these springers and they were branded Ruger, but I know they are a clone of another model.

Steve is correct they're clones of the RWS 34. Depending on who you talk to they're a good value after some tweaking or a complete POS. I have never messed with one, but the one I handled looked to be typical Chinese workmanship.

I have one, and also had a Black Hawk. Both are more in the POS category. quality of the stock is rough, cocking hard as it's a magnum type springer, and generally shakes and shudders like an earthquake. Gave the Black Hawk away and haven't shot the AirHawk for eon's because it's so bad. Could never recommend.

I have a Blackhawk, and I like it okay. It's worlds better than the Daisy pumps I have owned. And I've only shot over short distances, 20 yards or less, but it's pretty accurate at those distances. Anything longer than that, however, and you might as well forget it. I often don't even hit the target at 50 yards. Yes, it's very hard to cock, I'll agree with that. Having said that, I'll be making the jump to PCP very soon.

I have a MM tuned XS-25 in .22 from Flying Dragon which is the same gun.
It’s a solid 16fp rifle and shoots great. A good tune makes these an excellent value.

Tuning such as?
New barrel seal, piston seal and maybe spring?
Wondering if flat wire spring has ever been used in a break barrel
Maybe replacing the barrel assembly to a .22?

many years ago, i had a model 34 RWS in 177 and it was a very good rifle. i am not a big fan of 177 caliber so i traded it off.
