Rubber Band Pistols

Brian good luck at the EBR next week and do send some pictures. Your post reminded me of my (Younger Years). We would cut off are moms wooden broom handles put two slots on one end then attach two old wooden clothes pins on the other end. Our ammo was a bunch of 3"x 1/4" rubber bands tied together. We called it our over & under fly & bee gun. Then we advanced to our steel sling shots. We would make the sling shot out of the old steel coat hangers then attach rubber bands. For ammo we would go down to the farmers chicken coup cut out a 2x3 ft patch of chicken wire fence, then cut out all the straight pieces and bend them into u shaped hooks. Yes we were just 9 or 10 yrs old then but never got caught thank god, our butts would have been red with that air force belt. Old Old memories best of luck Darell P.S. make sure they wear safety glasses - never could understand why those rubber bands didn't break on the end & hit us in the eye, guess it way just luck.
