Rubber band chrony challenge

This probably is best categorized as, "simple things please simple minds".
Testing the Shooting Chrony indoors with cheap Harbor Freight lights on the diffusers and a rubber band. It actually works fine. Then I wondered, how fast can I get the rubber band to go... It measures about 5 inches when flat, and I just used my fingers to shoot it. Anyone else want to try to beat the record?

I'm retired too and also in Arizona, Mesa. Yeah, hot out there today and it's going to get worse. Yes the lights just sitting on top of the diffusers does work.

STUCK MINE FROM THE DOLLAR STORE UNDERNEATH . IN THIS HEAT THEY KEEP FALLING OFF WITH DOUBLE BACK TAPE. I'LL GIVE IT A TRY THIS EVENING. Got to get out to Ben Avery 7am now to shoot my Sporting clay's.

Mine have magnets on the back of the light. Using a magnet on top of the diffuser would hold them on the bottom.

I am using a 2.75" Dollar Tree Rubber band weighing 2.5 gr and it clocks at 150 fps (.12 ft/lb) using my Pro Chrono and the new Harbor Freight lights that resemble a light switch. They are mounted with magnets to the bottom of the diffusers.
