RTI RTI Regulator stack

Anybody knows the correct stack for RTI (externally adjustable) reg? More precisely for a mora?! Had 25 bellevilles in it but lost track… they all seem to be the same thickness and not sure how to stack 25 equal washers in a way that makes sense without have some washers go flat at some point… The only way would be something like )))))((((()))))((((())))) and that can’t be right, can it?!

I believe RTI regulator washers are (())(())(()) following this pattern until done.

Thanks! Yeah that’s how I have it on the P3… that would meant that I had one extra in the Mora reg though?! That wouldn’t be great…
Could be (())( to end the stack but not fully sure on the mora. But RTI has been pretty consistent on all of their generations. Weird that there isn’t a schematic on the mora reg online that I can find.

From what i remember hearing on YouTube 2 on 2 or a 3 on 3 washer stack are both options. I would love to see a how to video on removing and servicing the mora regulator.

yeah but the single would simply go flat… I went (()) and left one out since I’m not going above 150b…

Thanks! Yeah thought about ((())) but I don’t need that much upwards potential I guess…

Pulling the reg is super easy. Degas, unscrew the entire reg housing and pull the thing. It’s the same as for the prophet, you should be able to find videos for that one.

Here’s the result of (()) stacks all the way with 24 washers and everything polished all the way up to 8000 while had the reg out. Can probably be tightened up a bit more with fiddling but waaaay better than before, can’t tell whether it’s because of the new stack, polish or both though. H&N 34 gr .217, 72ish FPE:

Thanks for that idea. Yea from what I heard it sounds very simple, the whole gun is designed to be serviced easily, that's why I chose the mora. My guns not even a month old so I don't plan on doing anything yet. A few pictures or short video makes all the difference for me when I dive into a project I'm unfamiliar with

No problem!! Not to many proper videos on the mora yet in terms of disassembling… hopefully that’ll change at some point as it really makes it easier.
