Tuning rti prophet performance regulator rebuild?

Nervoustrig, I’m not sure the assembly will turn, possibly just the adjustment grub screw spins, adding pressure through the springs?

I’ll take some pics of mine tomorrow when I change it out. This will be just the new reg internals. I emailed RTI a couple weeks ago, and Mr. Rob (the company owner), got back to me. He had AOA send me the new internals. I’ll keep y’all apprised. View attachment 181913

Your regulator internals look like mine. When I took mine apart I found 29 Belleville washers. This doesn’t seem correct from looking at yours. Also, are yours oriented as it shows in the exploded diagram?

Yes, as in the diagram (())(())(())(())(())(())(()) for a total of 28 washers, seem you have an extra for some reason.

I rebuilt my 22 LR Gen 1 a few times then I installed a Huma and never looked back. My Compact Gen 1 has been 100% reliable since day 1.

That’s what I was afraid of. Now I am wondering if that is the cause of my creep and adjustment issues I’ve been having from the jump.

I purchased a huma as well. I just didn’t care for the loss of external adjustment. It was a solid regulator aside from that!
