3mm, 2.5mm, 2mm

I like the 3mm. Can adjust to a lot of power and stil shoot 7.1 gr at 80 bar. The new valve is more for high power. The speed is set with the regulator. Maybe there is a way to adjust the transfortport from the outside if you want more adjustable low power. On the other hand, I like high power. Here are some results.

3mm port, 80 bar, 7.1gr, 970 FPS
3mm port, 80 bar, 10.49gr, 860 FPS
3mm port, 100 bar, 10.49gr, 920 FPS

If you want to shoot .177 light pallets use a 2.5 mm restrictor.
If you want to shoot .177 fast use 3 mm restrictor.

If you want a restrictor let me know.

Nice work, 👍. Thanks Simon.

Like a idiot I assumed the TP was 7mm like the p1. Now I know it's 8mm.

More shopping and drilling,

I'm probably going to just start with 3mm, heavy pellets and light slugs.

I have noticed after shooting a lot with the .177. Use 10 Grain or higher. No need for restrictor. The heavier knockout slugs 13Gr work better, then the 10Gr.

At my range yesterday shooting with a couple of friends and one of them brought his new RTI Prophet 2 Performance Compact 👍 At the end of the day, we decided to test the max power output of this new edition with the new valve - He was shooting 13 gr slugs at the same velocity as we did with the RTI Prophet 1, but he was only at 115 bar and we were at 145 bar ! 🙂

Well, he cranked up the regulator to the max of 180 bar and loaded the ZAN 20 gr slugs 🙂 The specs at RTI says 30-50 Joules or 22-37 FPE 👍

63.05 Joules and 46.5 FPE !

Huge numbers for a .177 for sure ! 🙂 Amazing ! 💪
But At what point / speed does your accuracy fall off?

Simon, what regulator pressure are you shooting the 13gr at?
Had a try today, many many reg settings, it was like a shotgun pattern.😞
The barrel shoots baby slugs good in the P1, not so in the P2.
Maybe time to swap or test the regulator.
It's a head scratch.
Cheers Gary

I’m going to go out on a limb here.
I think the point of this thread is to say. The Prophet 2 have the power capability to push any slug made! At any speed in any caliber.
Allowing you to find the optimal balance of speed and slug for accuracy.

I’m not expecting in this scenario that accuracy was noted great.
