RTI PROPHET II Compact 22 caliber only

This is for the Compact II 22 Caliber ONLY, I got one and it was shipped with a CZ barrel, With much much effort I got the barrel out but you could not get the barrel back in, Now three of my Prophet I barrels fit no problem, So RTI sent me another CZ barrel, same problem, Where the two O rings are is just a thousands to big, , What to do no answer from RTI, So I get the sand paper out and by hand I very slowly rotate the end barrel , I do this for hours I kid you not trying to fit barrel in every hour or so of work, OK barrel fits now, Did the same with the 2nd barrel but I ported the port and got it a nice oval, What a pain in the A S , Did not get a chance to test the ported barrel yet, But with the 177 LW barrel tune Reg set at 100 bar shooting 10 gr pellets at 930 FPS , Dropped in the 22 barrel and no change to tune shooting the 18 gr JSB pellets at 900 to 910 FPS, Have to test out the ported barrel soon , Anyone want pictures? Accuracy oh my I think they sent me a hand picked barrel, Accuracy is that good, I am impressed big time.

yes, pics would be cool. How does the grooving looks?
RTI sends another barrel without returning the old? That is a nice present.
Well they did ask me to return the 1st barrel, So there is no gift. I got a lot of work in both barrels and I will be testing both barrels, So I may ask to just buy the second barrel, I will post pictures up of my handy work , I had to work very slow and long with the sand paper and I didn't want to screw anything up,, And I did contact a few machine shops but there all oil field related , Shop rates 200 $ when you walk in 250 $ per hour , Two hour minimum ,
I will see about pictures ,

That's a ripoff... I work at a machine shop.. minimum charge for a quick job here is 20 bucks..what you needed done would have definitely been a quick job.. (if I done it on my time...quick machine work...12 pack of cold beer)
Anyway... Glad you got things sorted out..

Yea, I got raw fingers now, I retired from the medical field not the oil field, There is a BIG oil boom here in Midland/Odessa Its crazy.
Computer does not see Phone so no pictures , If its not one thing its another, LOL
I shot barrel #2 at 48 yards some wind , ten shots cover by a dime and I was not trying real hard, after about an hour working on truck came back and shot 11th shot dead center but out of the dime group, DAM, I will see if I can get a picture up.

50 to 60 MPH winds , No shooting today West Texas, But i did take some barrel pictures, The barrel on the left came with the Prophet 22 PP II I could not get the sharp edge off the port, I was hand sanding , I thought hell smallest port I have seen on a 22 caliber I got two barrels so I opened it up a little, The one on the right is the one I was sent for warranty As I said in the other post I have test fired the one on the right , I stacked 10 pellets in a dime size hole with out a whole lot of effort, ( IMPRESET) I got about four hours sanding on both barrels and some very sore fingers, I got the barrel on the left port a lot cleaner than picture shows,OOPS.
