Tuning RTI Prophet Compact Setup

Hi, Guys - I have had my .22 compact for about a month (had one a couple months prior but it was sent back and replaced under warranty) now but I just had time to shoot it the other day for the first time. It was set by AOA at 150 bar shooting 18's @ 950fps. This is hotter than I would like. It is accurate at these settings but I'd prefer a milder tune or one for hades vs 18's. Also, the gun has a ping - can that be remedied with a more effective tune?

What settings are you all running yours at?

130 bar, hammer adjusting screw on plain with the shoulder stock face.

This equals an average of 880fps. with 18.1 gr. With the Daystate baffles, it's very quiet. Great to shoot, accurate, still nice and short (with the baffles inside the shroud).

Mine still has a slow leak, and haven't figured out where. Shoots well...just leaks. Gotta find out where. I sent an e-mail to RTI, no answer back, three days, and waiting..!

Gotta love it when a guy grammar checks you, but then he also makes a grammatical error in the same post. That's "two" funny.

Thanks, Mike. I'll turn it down to 130 bar and give that a whirl. 880 is where I had hoped to get to, sounds like 130 is the ticket.

I've got the daystate baffles on order from AOA and they should be in later this month. Ergo vertical grip is also on its way from optics planet. Already have some mags from Orion and 5 tins of 18's. Looking forward to getting this compact all set up.

Bummer on your leak, RTI responded in about 2 days when I reached out on the problems I was having on my first one. AOA was outstanding - huge shout out to the AOA team for their excellent customer service. Might want to give their repair team a call and maybe they can help you out.
