RTI PROPHET COMPACT II 22 caliber CZ barrel stuck

Hi Mike - I replied to a previous post of yours. Your issue is not a first. I had one of the first P2 Compacts and had the same problem. There were no obvious burs etc. Once I got the barrel out after an hour I couldn’t get it back in. I think I was more PO’d that I didn’t get the RPB barrel that I was paying a premium for. I returned it to Francisco and he made it right.

Im a huge RTI fan and really like the P1’s, they have been flawless. I’ve got another P2 I’m getting put together that is so far so good.

Not sure if I should copy and paste there post here, But in a nut shell RTI said they would give me 70 euros and I could keep the barrel,,No The gun is under warranty I want the barrel fixed or I want a new barrel. I do not think this is to much to ask for a 2000 dollar gun. I got hold of AOA and ask if they would honor the RTI Warranty .
Mike
AOA warrantied the reg for my P1.. (even though I bought the rifle from another dealer) without any issues... Give them a call. Hopefully they can get you fixed up..

I sent RTI a note when they told me they could not warranty my gun because they had no 510mm barrels in stock.

Well, Looks like I just get screwed then, , I know there are no machine shops in my area that can do fine presion work .
I guess I will get on line and see if someone can help me out. , I am just glad I had a LW 177 barrel that I am using on the gun.
I really like the Prophet, I have the PP I too, But your lack of support and supplies for the compact is not good ..
NO one wants to buy a gun that has no spare parts for it...
I do hope you improve this in the future.
I was one that complained to you about the big price increase on the PP II . You assured me with the new RPB barrel and the Valve it would be a big jump and everything would be a lot better,
