Check it. :) 1020 fps

I got a basic tune on it a few days ago out in my back yard at 30 yards. Sat on it for a few days - super busy @work plus crappy weather. I took it out to a local range that I can shoot at this evening after getting home from work - weather not to bad - low 40's* and a little bit of a breeze. The breeze was slight although periodically kicking up - I felt it kick up a couple of times and just sat on pulling the trigger until it subsided - it was a l-r, nearly 90* cross wind. Strelok told me to dial up XX number of clicks which turned out to be a bit hot - shots 1 & 2. I dialed down a couple 4 or 5 clicks - shot #3. Dial it back up one or two clicks . . . . Oh yeah - aim point on the bull / square. I could see where the breeze was pushing them to the right a little bit so I compensated accordingly. I don't know what happened on #7. ( lol ) All in all though - I'm pretty happy with that. The bullseye (square) is 1". .177 - booyah! ( lol ) :)

Oh yeah - I had an old dead hard drive from a laptop that I wanted to see if I could kill too at the same range ( 100 ). It was already dead - now it's really dead.

Thanks guys. I've learned from some of you in here to get it (any gun) shooting *really* tight groups @25-30 yards FIRST. Like hole in hole, or at least clover leafing THEN just go right out to whatever you think might be the longest distance you think you might shoot it at. My .22 and the one .25 that I own I have used this formula and it does seem to work out pretty well. ( if the grouping holds up at 100 then you should be good for everything in between 30 and 100 - if not - back to the drawing board and find a faster / slower speed - rinse and repeat ). I don't know that I'll actually go after critters at 100 with this one - but . . . I'm guessing I could! ( lol ) According to strelok it's still packing a punch of 18+ ft/lbs @100 yards which is amazing for such a small caliber. Pigeons, squirrels - sure. Woodchucks . . . I'm inclined not to. I'll stick to my .22 or .25 for those guys out at that distance.

@davelarson - no recoil at all. The thing is smooth - it's really quite nice.

@L.Leon - yes BUT I was so impressed with these 13.4's that I stocked up on them! NSA does sell heavier ones but I'm good with these for the time being. The thing is efficient too - I've not fully tested it but I'm pretty sure that it's good for at least 70-80 shots per fill. Possibly more - @1020 average fps! Nice. :)
