Tuning RTI Priest with Cylinder Leak

Hello Fellow Airgunners,

I have an RTI priest that I purchased around 2015. Pretty much right off the bat it had a cylinder leak. I sent it back to the dealer who sold it to me and the repair held for a few weeks. Since then, I haven't messed with it. Does anyone know if this was a common problem or something that was addressed by RTI?

I am sure it is just a oring which is leaking did you see where exactly it is leaking

if not just charge it up and use crc leak detector or any soapy water and look for bubbles , then discharge air and replace affected oring and clean up debris

if it still leaks after replacing the O-rings, check with a magnifying glass and make sure there are no small gouge marks or scratches on the sealing surface where the O-ring goes also check for burrs or bumps, sometimes a brake hone can be use to clean up the sealing surface as long as it is flat in the cylinder, if not some people used nail polish with good results.

Update please on your leak problem. I recently acquired a Priest 2 with both bottles (the 380cc) bottle is installed. I had never aired it over 3500 PSI but after new compressor I tried 300 Bar. When 300 bar is reached the bottle settles down to 250-260 bar. Refill to 300 does the same. Thanks
