RTI Priest 2 slug test

When I switched my Priest back to the pellet barrel, the 26gr is the slug I have been using for raccoons. Long range accuracy is a no go with them but I’m good 40yrds and closer. Be careful slugging those lizards. You are essentially shooting a rim fire gun. All those houses along those canals are not safe from a skipping or ricochet from a slug. It’s much safer with pellets. Don’t want to see you jeopardize what you have because of the “slug craze”.

Thanks all for the concern! I'm aware of what you all are mentioning. Vetmx has a point. Today I'm mainly using JSB Kings on my hunts and they are going thought the iguanas a lot, I'm trying to find an ammo that will stay inside! I'll test next penetration and expansion! I also need to to test the Hades!

The point of the video was to show that the gun will group well with slugs. RTI advertise this gun as a pellet gun and when they talk about slugs they say it won't shoot them well. My video shows that at 40 yards, those Nielsen shoot really well.

Thanks once more for all the advice!

If you can find a safe place, I would love to see an iguana getting smacked by a slug. They are quite dramatic in slow motion. I can jump strait to slugs from pellets with my Priest. It’s 11 clicks down, one left. You can do the same and smack one of those jokers on film if you have a safe shot. Then immediately post it for me to watch.

Thanks buddy! I'll see, as you mentioned it, it has to be a safe shot!

Just got my Priest 2 Performance back from AOA 2 days ago. . RTI sent me my new reg so I shipped it down and had them install the side lever cocking and power plenum with the new reg. I haven’t shot it yet as they set the reg at 150 bar and filled the bottle to 275 bar and have been waiting and watching for it to leek down. So far no leek. I’ll probably shoot tomorrow and I’ll post some pictures of it.
