RTI Priest 2 feedback

Might want to hold off until the beginning of the year. The Priest II is being updated with some nice features including side lever cocking which will improve on the Priest II straight pull cocking lever. It will be called the Prophet. With that said, I love the original Priest and the Priest II is an improvement on the original.

Hi Stoti, do you know for sure if this is coming beginning of next year? I was told that it was coming 2020 but no confirmation when. This gun is really high on my list. I already have an order on the Raptor Mini but is taking long to be delivered and I'm really seriously considering The Prophet.

Yeah, I was told early 2020 but we all know how that goes. I loved the original Priest but at the time, I was looking for something my boys could shoot. They were 8 and 10 at the time and the cocking lever was pretty hard to pull back. Didn’t want an issue so we bought something else. That was the only negative with the gun though, we loved everything else. If the Prophet is as good as it sounds, they’ll have a winner.

Quick question: how do these rifles compare to other "high end" guns for general reliability?

And how about ease of user maintenance / repair for things like o- ring replacement and the like?

These weren't on my radar before today, but they have my attention now.

Thanks!

Before I got mine, I was worried they would be made similarly to a paintball gun. Fortunately, that was not the case. It is much more firm and sturdy in my hands than expected. As for maintenance, it does not seem difficult. RTI has a video of the complete assembly. There are more parts than Edguns, but nothing seem difficult from what I can tell.
