Exactly. If that not solves your problem, you can cut one ring of your spring. Then grind the spring nice and flat. Then sand the surface smooth. Last scot & bright.
Wash the spring clean with break cleaner. Installing with grease.

thank you for the response . i took my gun to a friend that is a guru in airguns . he fixed it and rehomed it for me .
