RTI Compact PP2 tuning

Put mt 510 LW 177 barrel on my RTI compact, It was shooting the 10.34 gr JSB pellets at around 980 FPS .
I thought I would kind of stop a lot off pass throughs on the sparrows , Turned the Regulator down from 100 to what I thought was 80 bar, about every ten shots the gun would make a funny sound and shoot the pellet about 20 yards, Looked at the reg and it was below 50 turned it up to what I think is 80 bar or close to it, The hammer spring really has no effect on the FPS I turned it out all the way and then turned it in a few turns to make the gun sound right , So long story short keeping the Reg at 80 bar and the hammer spring two turns in from flush I settled for 700 FPS with 10.34 gr pellets,, I shot a whole tin of 500 pellets it was open but it was a new tin one setting and no refills , I don't think my bottle was all the way full when I started either

Mike, any advantage or reason for the double plenum extensions?

My compact with the 510mm barrel and one plenum works super with jsb 10.34gr. , regulator 100 bar plus I have a 3mm transfer port restrictor fitted.

I'm genuinely interested in different set ups, especially in compact format.

Just my Texas thinking on the plenum, If one is good two is better, I put them on the same time I installed the 500 cc bottle , and more or less just forgot about them, I do have the very slight hum noise after a few fast shots , Was told thats the regulator refilling with air,Didnt notice until I installed the two plenums . I wonder if the electric bar gages would work on the RTI?

The later RTI gauges are as accurate as any digital ones I've seen or tried, but I admire and respect your Texas logic..

Yea, my Texas logic gets me in crap sometimes , My back stop is made from old rail road ties , Found a guy that was selling a few and I pulled up in my truck and ask him .What you want for your old rail road ties , The ole fart said hell the more you buy the cheaper they are, I said poop load them up and keep loading them until there free.
Kinda pissed him off and I ended up paying double for them, Oh well I only needed four.

The 3mm port restrictor came from factory ? Do you think using a 4mm port restrictor for a 177 slug is too much ? It can be bad or better ?

3mm is the largest TP restrictor I've needed.
The original TP restrictor had a 1.6mm hole, I just drilled and polished different diameter holes, ended up with 3mm.
