"mcoulter"I replaced the seal on my Royale and everything is good now. But it occurred to me as I was working on this that not too long before the breech seal blew, I did pulled some patches with Ballistol through the bore.
While I believe Ballistol is safe to use, wonder if I had put too much on the patches. As I pulled them through the breech perhaps this lubricant squeegeed out and got behind the o-ring and making it easier to pop out.
