Yes, on my first phase of modding I went 5mm all the way from top to the valve pin and stayed with the 6m barrel set screw. Mine doesn't have the power wheel but I would think it would also need opened the same. It was just on phase 2 that I opened it up to 6.5mm, same as a Boss (kinda of stressful though as that's a big ass hole to be drilling through your receiver, lol). When I say transfer port/ports I'm referring to all the air passages. Plenum port might be a better term for the lower passage. In the above attached link Weatherby gives all the dimensions between basically three guns. Good luck and holler if I can be of anymore help.

Be warned, once you get started it's hard to stop with the mods. You might also be interested in adding a second gauge for your regulated pressure. It's sure nice knowing at a glance what it is.

No, my power wheel as only 2 setting and it is 5mm on max. Never touch that end.

According to all that I would probably drill 5mm hole from power wheel to valve, nothing bad can happen except better flow is it ?

I cant say for sure not being familiar with that version and if what Snowbird is saying is true about it being 5mm already there's probably nothing to gain. Opening up that 4.5mm necked down spot might though.

The transfer port in power adjuster is only 4,5 mm on mine, and the port in the barrel is aprox 3.9 mm, can it be an idea to make this larger to ??

(Decided to drill up transfer port to 5mm, both upper and lower ..... + SHP valve / valve pin )
