Rookie Question: Do QD rings hold Zero??

even regular rings will hold a zero 'pretty well' if detached from the gun and remounted .. but 'eye of the squirrel' at 50y well, probably not ... after its done a few times it might settle in to acceptable for you is my thoughts .. but after you get it worked out well where you dont need to tighten and loosen screws etc ..

I would agree with dizzums on this most of the decently built rings, QD or not, will hold very close to zero if removed and reinstalled on the same gun with a good mount.

Like what dizzums & Bio said yes they will hold zero. But you will have to remount them in the same position it was removed. I use ATN QD 1 piece mount with my thermal, Midwest Industries 1 piece mount with my scope and both hold zero. I do reverify zero by shooting a couple of shots before going out on my hunt.
The one QD rings that surprised me were the Leapers UTG LE, they're 2 piece mounts but for the price they hold zero just as well as my much more expensive Midwest Industries mount.

Agree with the UTG LE QD mounts. I've never had a problem with them and they are more affordable.
