Since we hadn’t shot in the woods since last July there was obviously a lot of growth. Doug Rogers and I hit the woods on Tuesday with my buddies walk behind brush hog, 2 push mowers, weed wackers, pole saw, and hedge trimmer. The lanes had two foot of growth, a few small dead trees down, and overgrown bushes. We also had to open up the lane that we drive in, that the club maintains, that seems to always get smaller. Fast forward to Friday, I met Shaun Pragle and Daryl Van Why to help set up the course, which went very quickly, and I appreciated their help. It was a quiet day Saturday weather wise, no wind, very humid, 80s and mosquitoes and black flies. We had 6 shooters, half of our usual group are in Connecticut for the Rockville GP. The course was shorter with the creek running through, only went across the last 4 lanes which we weed wacked, resulting in a 27.2 Troyer. I had one illegal lane,a 1” at 51yds, since I couldn’t put out any at 57 like in the fields
