Road Trip to Vortek

I was surprised to find out that Vortek Products is only an hour away from my house. Was a very nice drive, the weather was perfect. I took a HW95 .177 and a TX200 MKIII to Tom today. Very nice gentleman, really knows his stuff. I asked him to tune the 95 to 15 fpe and the TX200 to 12 fpe. Looking forward to the results!

I met up with Tom at the airgun show a couple weeks ago! My first time meeting him too.
Did a smack up job making me a kit for my FWB Sport. I sent him all the dimensions and measurements for a guide and spring and he nailed it!!!

Another road trip out to Vortek today to pickup my rifles. Shot both of them a few times, cocking effort went down and the shot cycle was crazy smooth. The shot sound is a quiet thunk instead of a sproing. Rifle movement has lessoned and is one directional now. Will have wait until Saturday to test them out, looking forward to it. I dropped the HW30 and HW50 off and asked him to work his magic on them also.

The rifle kits cost plus $100 to install, say $225 per rifle. I took a couple hours of vacation time also. Not exactly cheap. However, I am quite sure Tom did an exponentially better job than I ever could. Men and Boys, price of their toys.

Picked up the HW30 and the HW50 from Tom on Friday. Both rifles shot cycles and accuracy went up in every way.
