Spoiler alert incredible experience !! All I can tell you is WOW

I Left few days early and got to spend a day or two with Tom from Tomcat Airguns at hos Gorgeous home ...We had a blast !!! And what a great dude to hang with !!

My buddies John and Dave had rented a Air BnB and invited me to stay with them and we had a Great time hanging out together ! Both of these guys can SHOOT and are just cool as a night sweat 

As for the Shoot .......I can't say enough about how impressed I was with the entire Utah Airguns crew for the incredible job ...Guys who work there , wife's , friends , sisters , brothers , you name it ....A true family event . I did my best to thank each and every one of them personally for making my 22 hour drive worth every minute !!! 

I hope you guys don't mind but there are some folks who really stood out to me that made the trip so special that I'd like to mention.

First my two half brothers Ken and Chris who I haven't seen since EBR and got to meet their wife's this time ....And sorry to say their wife's were way cooler than they are :) Have missed these guys since last year .

Justin ,Austin, Val , Shane and more guys than I can name for taking the time to help folks with literally everything. For guys who don't know Val he is Seriously one of the coolest guys in Utah ! I could talk to Val all day , why he talks to me I will never know !!!!! ????? But I love it 

Travis from AGD his Pro Football player looking brother 👊 Funny as hell and just a blast to spend time with !! Travis is the Best and has legs that go on forever ... Sorry got off track . 

Jon from FX and Fredrick the owner . What a couple of classy guys and funny as hell . Both of these guys ROCK . Jon is a class Act 100% !!!

Jackie from AGD was great to meet also ( the top 5 chick ) seriously Cool lady and funny as they get . PS she's prettier in person , but just one of the guys , and goofy as I am ..Maybe Goofier !!! Seriously she is Gomer Pyle goofy but we had such a fun time telling stories ! She's a keeper 

Rick shooter 1721 got to meet in person along with his hoot of a wife !!! Rick's first shoot , and he had guys asking him questions from the time he stepped outta the truck . Handled it like a Pro . And let me touch his wife on the butt for photo shoot ...Not kiddn they are such a cool couple ! 

Stephen Archer from Hard Air Magazine !!!!!!! He is absolutely HILARIOUS !!!! We spent like a half hour at the mansion just chilling in Rocking chairs and enjoying the mountain air . He's a great combo of just one of the guys / and an icon in the sport . Coolest Brit since Ringo Start :). And a Seriously Badass photographer !! Forget what you think about Brits ....Steve is a country boy deep down inside !!!

Meeting up with old friends and meeting some in person for the first time . Making new friends and just having a ball.

There are 3 other guys I would like to give a shout out to . Steve from AEAC , he took video and pictures of everyone... And made every one of them feel as the one person he most wanted to photograph , great work buddy..I heard one young guy say " Steve at AEAC just took my picture !!!!" you made his day buddy !! .......Donny FL , He answered more questions than any competitor should ever have to , and did it with a smile and Grace , easily one of the best guys around ... ... And someone I think you guys here at AGN should all be proud of . Michael Wendt !!!! Tom and I got there two days early and from the time we pulled up to Utah Airguns Michael was working ...Loading trucks ,making targets , getting prizes ready , helping folks who were unsure where to go, and went up and down the stairs at Utah Airguns enough times to get frequent flyer miles . At the range he was a range officer ALLLLLLL day every day , filling guns with air , helping guys find their squads , working on guns , and didn't take 10 mins to have a break midday just to grab a bite to eat ....Just so others could enjoy the event and not wait .

If you are lucky enough to come to this or any other event Michael is at make sure and take the time to shake his hand and let him know how much he means to the sport . Corny to say he leads by example , but it's the truth , he sets a pretty high bar that I know I can learn from.

Killer shoot , Beautiful banquet, Great friends ......Plan your vacation now for next year guys !!! Don't miss it 😂

My squad all ready booking the same AirBnB 🍻. Well not " my squad " I'm still on probation...But I'm hoping they let me hang with the again :)


 
Glad you had a great time! Last year we were in Utah visiting family in Salina a week before the event, I was so bummed.

My family was planning on going this year but they moved it forward a month. My wife is a school teacher and just ended school on Friday, no way we could have made it on time. Hopefully next year! 

Pretty interesting that the standings were a lot different this year, was it windy? That tends to separate the good shooters from the great and even then, it doesn’t hurt to have a little luck on your side!

Donny FL is one of the nicest guys I ever met. One cool dude. Great memory. I walked up to him and he just started talking about a conversation we had two years ago. I just agreed with everything he said because I didn't want to look stupid for not remembering what we were talking about. I was impressed he remembered me from two years ago and that alone continuing a conversation. I would suggest writing down what you talked to him about and save it in your suit case because he will remember what you and him were talking about two years later.
