anyone have any feedback on Riton optics .....? there warranty is hard to beat.......you break it they will hand you a Brand one ...not refurbish or repaired.... Brand NEW one..... they have good reviews online.......

I have 2 of the 2-7x32 Gen 2 Mod 3 mil-dot scopes, 1 on my Leshiy and 1 on my AR platform. Side focus down to 10 yards or less. I love mine, wish the reticle was a bit thinner, but no worse than any mil-dot reticle. Very clear to the edges, way better than my Bug Buster. I called Riton because the one I bought online was not the same scope on their website, a guy answered the phone and was very helpful and told me my scope was the newest version and that their site wasn't updated. Anyways, I thought it was great to hear someones voice and not an automated service.

I pick up the x5 conquer 5-25x50 mrad last weekend. Very clear glass, crisp turret, and smooth adjustment. I haven't mounted it yet. I'm waiting for the 108 MOA One Piece Infinity Elevation Adjustable Scope Mount to come in. It will be replacing the vortex strike eagle 5-25x56 that's on my Uragan King .30

Very Poor customer service. Do a search in the optics section and read about it.
At least you didn't buy the top of the line X7 the last review not recommended based on poor QC.
Something really fishy they go on sale for half price from some internet dealers if you shop smart (However most PPL Don't). Even sold on DVOR are they discontinuing the brand or just overstocked all the time?

X7 and the old Mod 7 are made by japan optics, X5 is china's sam electrical. I tried one of the x5 conquer or something like that for 600 bucks and it sucked bad!

Rule of thumb- scope dealers - resellers typically buy (SCOPES IN GENERAL) for around 50% off then double their money reselling them just so you know what's up.
Actual scope companies bring them in as their label pay 10 to 20 cents in the dollar for example a $1000 MAP priced scope cost the company in the vicinity of $100 - $200. That's doesn't sound right they are around $50-$80-$90. I used to bring in stuff wholesale direct from China no middle man.
Markup on scopes are extremely high. Especially with the popular brands.

I seen Ritons and other brands selling for half price from time to time from several non mainstream Dealers but I never post heads up on scopes that I don't have 100% faith in and if the company has lack of customer service if anything goes wrong or no lifetime warranty unless it's a no brainer with dirt cheap selling price.
