Hi everyone, this is my first post on this forum so please forgive me if I don’t do everything correctly, I wouldn’t be that expert at this type of thing. I’m from Ireland and enjoy clay pigeon shooting but my main passion is air rifle shooting. I shoot a lot of vermin feral pigeons rats rabbits etc. I have an fx impact mk 2 in .22 and a hw 97kt. The hw shoots at 11.7 ft/lbs and I use it mostly inside buildings. The fx can shoot between 24 and 52 ft/lbs depending on the pellets/slugs and what setting I use. My reason for posting is that I have a riton 5*25*50 conqueror on the fx and had been using strelok pro, however since the situation with Russia this ballistic calculator is no longer available here. It was an excellent program. Does anyone know what can be used in its place . Regards Pat

The Chairgun Elite app is basically the same thing. I guess they bought the rights to the Strelok software?

It would be good to know exactly what went on as i have looked at chairgun elite and it sure does look very similar, the only thing is it costs £10.00 per year every year and will probably go up in time. Someone should be able to contact the strelok guy to find out. It should never have been taken down in the first place. We the ordinary sports shooters are the ones who are actually sanctioned. Bloody disgrace.

Yes, the developer, Igor Borisov, said that himself in a post: They stole his code.....
The Strelok Facebook page is quite active, and he posts there.

Yes, I understand, I also would hate to use a program that was blatantly stolen from a gifted and very user oriented developer.
So, that eliminates ChairGun Elite (but not ChairGun Pro, an original Hawke product).
I have paid for Strelok Pro and therefore feel no remorse for using an APK file I found on the interwebs. As soon as the embargo against the developer is lifted, I will delete that file and use a regular downloaded version from an app store.
In fact, I hate subscription models with a passion, for apps and software.
But if Strelok would ever decide on a subscription, I would pay without hesitation. It's just so good.
