Rio Salado Range Airflow Characteristics (EBR Arizona)

Having shot FT Nationals at Rio Salado but never having attended EBR, I venture to speculate that winds blowing through uneven terrain and thick cacti, some as tall as two-story buildings on the FT course, presents different wind-doping challenges than those across a flat, open range bench-rest. Stronger winds prevailing from one or two directions (at a time) versus weaker, broken winds seemingly from any and all directions.

Not to say one type of wind conditions more difficult than another, only different. Speaking from experience, I can say both can drive an insane man to distraction; can't say how they might affect the sane. 😳
