Ring Height Help

When it comes to setting up scopes/rings/heights/etc. I've learned one important thing over the years..
Our setups are not created equal. A big factor is actually the shape of people's heads..
While some people have bigger/lower cheeks and a farther distance to their eyes,
other people [like me] have thinner/higher cheeks and closer distance to our eyes..

That said, 1 the height of the top of the stock in relation to the scope rail is a factor

and then 2 the shape/type of your head..

With the rifle you mentioned, I would personally need to go with either a short or a medium height ring set.
Same setup w/ my Nova Freedom, Hatsan Gladius, Kral Puncher Breaker, and Kral Nemesis,

In YOUR case, The nice thing is - if you go with a higher set of rings - you can always adjust your rifle's cheek-piece.
That'll give you a much nicer weld / level line of sight.

PS: Killer rifle! I really dig those Vulcans, and hope to get one of them someday!

Just to add...

I have found over the years that low-profile rings do not work with all 40+ mm scopes. Some fixed objective scopes will clear at 40-44 mm, but some don't. I've also found some "medium" or "mid-rise" rings to be sketchy, as some clear BARELY, and others are like a skyscraper.

I've also seen it with "high-rise" mounts. Some give a nice tight mounting profile, and others seem like a midget built them.

I could name names, but there's too many out there to list. I'm not that guy for the job. I would suggest looking up reviews on mid/high-rise mounts to see what works. I recently used mid-rise mounts on a 40 mm fixed-objective scope and had plenty of clearance... I moved to a 40 mm AO and I couldn't even mount it. I moved to a different AO scope with a different "medium" mount, and it cleared with millimeters to spare.
