Rifles. What are the offhand shooting friendly cocking methods?

I off-hand shoot with a Diana Bandit. I'm right handed and the bolt is on the left. Perfect setup for me. I haven't owned a PCP repeater rifle and I'm having a hard time figuring out what the best cocking method would be for offhand shooting. Which hand should even do the cocking? Right hand means taking me hand off the grip, but I don't see how I would keep the gun stable if I took of my left hand, lol.

On a light gun that you can lift with one hand then go on the left. Heavy gun bolt on the right. You will just have to take your eye off the sight momentarily. Get a new Benjamin marauder semi auto and forget about this problem forever

I'm a lefty and shoot an Impact and RAW with the cocking handle on the right side. It's actually very comfortable to cycle with my right hand.. Many right handed shooters are seeing the benefit of a left handed bolt. When you're shooting off hand, hold the gun normally, shoot and then cycle the bolt with your left hand, keeping your trigger hand on the grip of the stock. Ultimately, what ever works best for you and feels best is what you should stick with. Good luck!

There is no need to keep the rifle on your shoulder while cycling the action. I have both bolt and side lever guns. I don't stay in the scope between shots. Perhaps you are thinking too hard about a non problem?

With military bolt action rifles (bolt not bent) I reach over the top with my left hand to cycle the bolt when shooting left handed. I find it easier than running them right sided. If you have a scope mounted that would not work so well.

Thanks for all the responses. Perhaps I am over thinking it but I know I do not want to have to go through any extreme motions to cock the gun. Again, I've been spoiled by my Bandit.
