Does anyone put a protectant on the rubber butt pads of their guns ? Was thinking of 303 Aerospace . I'm in the process of installing one to finish my gun . TIA Darell

i never had a problem with them, if it looks dry wipe alittle silicone oil on it .. some stuff i use that works well for everything, orings etc, is the bottled silcone oil like rc'ers use in model shocks .. its pure silcone and just the right consistency ...

Yes, I use 303 on butt pads and synthetic stocks; it's very effective as long as it is buffed dry - not allowed to dry and you'll avoid the oily or slippery feeling that other products might have.
