First all, this is not for bashing, it is just for awareness, and what I said here, I said in public on Rick’s video as I state below.
Hey everyone, during my lunch break I watched Rick’s blackbuck hunt with the FX Impact in 35 cal, based off the numbers he gave FPE was 160.
Though the bushbuck is not a large animal, I think a different platform would have been better to use, with an FPE well above 200. As I wrote in my comments on the video, people shouldn’t get the idea the FX Impact in 35 cal should get the idea the platform is suited for big game hunting general.
I am no big game hunter, but I know using the platform would not meet the legal FPE requirements of many US states. Where allowed, most western states require 300 plus FPE to legally use an airgun for big game hunting.
I like Rick, etc, but I just don’t want morons thinking all 35 cals are made equally.
