Had my fun with this one and I have too many.. this is a great light weight carbine that I can hunt with all day without getting tired of carrying it around..
I’ve made a few refinements and adjustments from OE configuration..
First I polished the crown on the barrel and cleaned/ polished barrel, which greatly improved groups.
Currently set up to shoot premiers at about 800fps And at 30 yds it will shoot dime size groups.
2nd.. is what I do every time I receive a rifle new out of the box.. i disassemble the action and clean/polish the bolt, hammer, spring and remove any sharp edges from machining. Also check/ tighten fasteners and applied blue loctite to a few specific ones.
3rd and last thing done to the rifle is that I removed about 1.5 inches from the butt of the stock to shorten the way to long LOP..
This made it shoulder very nicely and imo the way it should’ve been originally.
Full disclosure, I didn’t get around to matching up the butt with the butt pad so one side is flush and the other side is proud about 1/16-1/8 of an inch.
Ships double boxed in original box with 2 mags, manual.
