Reverse Engineer a sight theory.

I am a newer member here with only 3 posts so far. I like the data that I have seen here so far, and I am going to try to get better at blogging. I don't post very often anywhere else. 6 years ago, I had a rodent problem and I needed to come up with a simpler sight for people like me that don't shoot well. Since that time, I have learned a lot about targeting theory. I now have a sight that a child can shoot at close range and be very accurate. For those that know their theory, here is some data pieces for reverse engineering. My sight is precision accurate at <1 yard and will be +/- 1/8" out to 13 yards. I have verified this data using Shooter's Trajectory Calculator. I have it on a Diana Chaser pistol and have had kids shoot a string that holds up a can at 12 yards. I am in the process of trying to get this sight licensed to a manufacturer. These sights are not on the market presently. I can prove my sight works, yet I meet a number of people that doubt the theory. The challenge is to figure out the theory, if you can. Need to post more to be able to direct message some members. I'm not looking for anything from anyone but good conversation. Thanks for reading.

Ideally on the barrel Top or Bottom.
If on top the pellet will be slightly impacting under the lights dot and become lower the further you shoot , on bottom pellet impact slightly above in close and spot on a short ways away. *** MAKE SURE THE Side to Side alignment is correct and adjust accordingly before adhesive dries/sets.

Once mounted and adhesive dried, take some shots and note POI to the Dots position ... WALA !!!

HOT GLUE, or a dab of ShoeGoo/ G6000

This is a pretty good attempt for the limited data given. Several points I would question would be; If mounted below the barrel, the laser beam axis center would have to be within 1/8" of bore center. The laser beam would cross the pellet path at only 1 Near Zero point of accuracy. IMO this is why lasers are not usually used for precision targeting. Another point would be that the system is not vertically adjustable. The same points apply to the laser mounted above the barrel. The first Near Zero could be close, but the second Far Zero would be out of the 1/8" range. The issue with the side-to-side adjustment would be a big concern. My sight has the X-Y adjustable axis's designed in. I have sights that I shoot at 100 yards as well as these close-range fly killers. Good call on the ShoeGoo. I have plans to use ShoeGoo on several mounts that are in process. I see the Motorhead handle applies well. Very logical. Thanks for responding.
