Daystate Revere .177 strange regulator curve???

Got my haunted revere back from AOA,
took out for some testing …
it’s shooting fine as it should.
But I wonder how long before it will go bad on me again!!!

What did AoA end up doing to fix the issue, rebuild the regulator?

Yeah they changed the seal on the reg,
and that’s it.

You should call them and ask... they have a very specific method for testing, troubleshooting, fixing and dissembling and they keep records. Was it all warranty work?

Yeah it was under warranty,
and they did send me shot consistency report,
but at the end of the day,
my concern is,
these pcp’s regardless of their make and model are held together by some rubber o rings which raises the question of its reliability.

That's all it can take to affect any air rifle is a simple $.05 oring. Some guns just have more orings than others. My .177 unregged Revere shoots 60 shots within a 20 fps rise and drop. Sometimes regs just add an extra point of failure vs unregged guns.
