Retired members here?

down to 12 months and 28 days now......... 🤘
I'm on a countdown too. 120 days to go! Last day of this year is my last day of work, after 43 years as a software developer. Can't wait!

Just getting into airguns now. Been shooting powderburners my whole life, but this is a new venture. Picked up an Air Venturi Avenger with wood stock, and an Athlon Argos Gen2 6-24x50 scope . Took my first shots last week and got sighted in at 25yds. This is going to be fun!

Now it will be golf, fishing, and PCP shooting...

Sounds like a plan to me! 😊👍👍

I'm assuming the majority of members here are retired. Or if I'm wrong what is a good guess on the percentage of retired airguners?
Just guessing by reading a lot of the posts on when people are shooting or out farting around during the day..lol.
Hopefully I'll get there one day and join in on the
fun.✌🏻
My father was retired for so long he said the only way he knew what day it was is by what was on TV. I always had to laugh at that.

Long time retired Texas L/E and pilot here. You can see my interest in airguns below. Believe it or not, started out hunting in S. Texas at age 8 with a flintlock in the early 50's. Still have a passion for flinters but growing interest in airguns; simply because I can shoot outback without raising the anger of neighbors.

Don’t wish your life away! Retirement has its rewards but some days I wish I was working.
