Reticle markings at 25x on a SFP scope

Thank you for replying Centercut! The reticle is said to be calibrated to have true MOA cross marks at 18X. So as it stands the marks will be 1.4" apart instead of 1" at 100yds set to 25X. Then If I'm understanding this correctly the marks would be 2.8" apart at 50yds correct? I hope I can get this right because I'll probably use 25X more often (for the added visual precision) at 50yds + and knowing this information will be a great place to start for trajectory notes. Thanks again, Bill.

"agnthooziast"So the marks could be used to reference 0.7" at 50yds set to 25X vs. 0.5" set to 18X correct? I got the 9X scrambled in somehow last night which is calibrated differently obviously. I've never used anything but a duplex reticle for scopes and lots of practice since 1982'ish so I'm trying to learn a new language!
On an SFP scope, the distance between reticle dots or marks is reduced as you increase the magnification.

At 100 yards, if they are 1" apart at 18x, they will be .72" apart at 25x.

18/25 = .72
